Sunshine and Powder

What a day today. They opened the Peak Chair for the first time this year. Steve and myself had 4 runs in Glacier Bowl in knee deep virgin powder. Riding up the chair you broke out of the cloud into brilliant sunshine. What a site. We then went into Burnt Stew and the snow was the most perfect powder I think I have ever boarded in. Both of us are still grinning from ear to ear!!

Tomorrow I hear they are opening Harmony Express and Crystal chairs. Get there early tomorrow and you might find some untracked left over from today. A lot of people were hiking up the short road from the Saddle to the top of Harmony today so it might already be skied out. Lots left in Burnt Stew though.

I think this might be the earliest they have ever opened these lifts.
