I only went up on Monday and of course today this week. I am waiting for new snow. The conditions are interesting for us West Coasters. Icy mixed in with sugar. Sounds like I am making a dessert. Nice sunny weather at least makes up for the snow conditions. I would hate to be a beginner as it would be a struggle for sure. We are starting to see some bare patches as well. The good news is that they are predicting snow for Sunday on. Hopefully it will snow for a while and we can get back to normal. Temperatures also look like they will be OK as well.
Went up to Whistler Olympic Park again for $5 Wednesday nights. Had a free skate ski lesson so I might now need to add to my Winter sports gear. Lets see, carving skis, powder skis, touring skis, snowboard, split board, snowshoes, cross country skis and now skate skis. I need to build a bigger house.
On a side note, to take your mind off of the snow, is that did you know that to take the chairs off of the Harmony Chair they run the lift backwards. I would assume they do this on the Peak as well but haven't seen it for myself like I did at Harmony.
