Knee deep and deeper in places. It was pouring rain in the valley when I headed to the lifts. It was snowing at Base 2 so I knew that was good. Caught the 2nd gondola up Whistler and met up with Rick. Deep powder everywhere. If you don't believe me ask Rod, Shona, Ove or Ilze. The Alpine opened on Blackcomb and Harmony opened on Whistler at 1:45. It had a huge lineup. I am sure some people waited for many hours.
Got to head to the Peak and Symphony tomorrow as the temperature is going to drop making the snow really light.
