Thursday Report for Jan 6, 2011

It just keeps on snowing. It hasn't stopped since yesterday morning. Today was another powder day. They managed to get everything open on both mountains except the Showcase T-bar. Of course that was where we were taking a tour today. We detoured and made it into a more normal tour with some powder thrown in. Very flat light up top.
There was a huge lineup for Spanky's Ladder today and it must have been awesome.
The freezing level was supposed to go up but it didn't as it is still snowing in the Valley. That's a good thing.

I noticed that they were running the free bus today from Lots 4 and 5. I wonder if they are now running 7 days a week. They were originally scheduled to just run on weekends and holidays. I will have to find out.

Lots more snow forecast through Saturday and then the Sun will make an appearance. It should be another powder day tomorrow although I expect the snow might be a little heavier.
