A lot of the regulars are starting to return. Saw the most interesting pair of skis the other day on the mountain. They had a long rectangular scoop at the front. You will never guess how much they are. Didn't catch who makes them but I saw the price tag through the window at Snowcovers. $4,499. There was a normal looking pair of skis next to them that I assume were from the same manufacturer and they were only $5,999. What a bargain. Maybe they ski themselves.I wonder if that includes gold bindings?
We had a warm spell go through on Saturday afternoon into Sunday which hopefully stabilized the very high avalanche danger. This of course made the runs very solid on Monday. The groomers are doing their best to crunch it up and today was not that bad.
| Rick working very hard today. Note that the snow is already up to our deck. |

Looks like a stretch of Sunny weather so you will not need your fat planks this weekend. That is probably because Col. Bob and Jan just returned from down South.
The Peak Chair is opening tomorrow and Harmony on Saturday. I would assume that maybe the high alpine on Blackcomb will open the following weekend.
Whistler Blackcomb is offering the most skiable terrain in the World right now so get up here.
