Another great week and I can't believe it is February already. Nice snow all week and some powder thrown in.
If you have a Season's Pass or probably even an Edge Card make sure you try out WB+ on the Whistler Blackcomb website at https://plus.whistlerblackcomb.com/welcome . It knows everything about your travels on the mountains for last year and this year. Things like vertical, lifts, which mountains and lifts you frequent etc.. Lots of fun and soon you will be able to see how you rate against your friends and other groups.Today I won the 250,000 vertical metres badge for the season.
On the Blackcomb Glacier for the tour the snow was nice and soft but the light got quite flat as we got lower. A bit of everything today from brief sun to clouds to snow. You could feel the snow starting to change to the wetter side a bit later in the day today. Will be interesting to see where the snow line will be tomorrow as at 6PM it is zero in the valley and raining. That means there is warm air higher up.They are predicting a lot of snow, especially tomorrow, so lets hope it stays below freezing. More sun for the weekend. Saturday will be busy if we do get a lot of snow.
