There is still tons of snow and the runs are deserted now. I have been wearing almost the same clothing I have been all Winter except for a lighter jacket. Today however the first real Spring day of skiing happened. I probably could have worn shorts and a t-shirt when the sun was out. The snow was still real good in a lot of places but did get very sticky after the sun hit them for a while. Ridge Runner continues to be the best run and gets very little skier traffic. You can still ski out to the bottom of the Wizard Chair so you can still park at Base 2 and ski out and in. Not sure how much longer but the groomers do perform magic. They have a lot of snow they can push around to keep it open.
Looks like more Spring days are on there way. Just watch the temperatures on the mountain on days of precipitation.
I have been skiing until 1pm some sunny days and then going for a bike ride with Barb after that.
