Well not a lot happened this week. Some snow, some sun and most of the time it seemed like a ghost town on the mountains. A few lineups here and there like 7th Heaven. Most of the time for lunch it was no problem finding a table in the on mountain restaurants. Very pleasant skiing and a lot of the black diamond runs they don't normally groom were groomed. Love it when they do that.
Season's the passes are on sale now for next year and the good news is that the Senior and Super Senior passes are still here. I think Vail has been listening to us. More student passes are available as well.
Looks like maybe some snow tonight and then warmer weather for a while and luckily no precipitation. Get the sunscreen out.
My camera is broken so limited photos this week.

Don, Heidi - thanks for the great glacier tour, information and stories. I swept with Heidi, and got some additional stories and info on the various points to climb to and drop in - perhaps another day (I'm standing to the left of Heidi in the group photo). The guided tours are one of the best features of WB - really helps to have guidance in order to get understanding of the mountains, as they are so huge. Take care, have fun and hope to see WB and the guides, again.
ReplyDeleteI'm 'Unknown,'above - don't know why it didn't take my name, first time (left in photo, to Heidi's right).
