This week has been fairly crowded on the runs with a lot of beginners. If you knew the mountains you could avoid most of the lineups. The runs though did get pretty slick, especially in the afternoons.
I still don't think it has been as busy this Christmas Season, because if we had had the usual numbers, the lift lineups would have been insane with most of the Alpine lifts not open.
Today it snowed all day, Lineups were huge out of the Village but I only saw a 5 minute lineup at Jersey Cream. Seventh Heaven lineup was minimal and I was quite surprised that Lower Cloud Nine was in pretty good shape. The Peak to Peak Gondola was down all day with an electrical problem.
Good news, if the forecast is correct. Lots of snow for the next week especially tonight and Friday. Just watch the temperatures tomorrow as the snowline may be higher. This bodes well to get all the Alpine lifts open for the locals after the Holiday crowds leave. They were running Glacier Express today and training the lifties on the line coral.
