Thursday Report for Dec. 13, 2012

Another great week. Friday was a great powder day. Sunday I went back country skiing behind Flute. Nice light deep powder. Monday was just a normal day. Wednesday was a bluebird day with sunshine and powder. Today was overcast with great grooming but still nice snow. It snowed lightly most of the day.

Look at the snow on the Symphony Chair.

Johnny, Joe, Rod, Eddie, Patti, Gordie and Allie. the Powder Pigs on Friday.

Ove, Ingrid, Grahame and Eddie backcountry on Sunday on the backside of Flute.

Nice powder turns Ingrid!

Bluebird day on Wednesday

Looks like some sun tomorrow but more snow on the way. What a season so far!

Today our Mountain Hosts found a guy with his goggles on upside down and another with his helmet on backwards. Where do these people come from?

Lots of people from the States are here after changing their plans to go to Utah or Colorado.

They were setting up the queue lines for the Showcase T-bar today so I expect it to open maybe tomorrow or Saturday. I haven't heard anything about the Symphony Chair but they have shoveled the chairs off, so, maybe this weekend as well or next weekend for sure? The ski outs are open on all sides now.
