We have now been hit with one of those warm storms but it was still snowing on the mountain at the end of the day. It was supposed to start raining after lunch but the temperature stayed around the freezing mark and it stayed as snow. There was some nice deep powder around. Tomorrow is going to be interesting. It could be similar to today but a few degrees either way is going to make a big difference. There is a lot of new snow in the alpine that wasn't touched today. If it gets colder it should all dry out and it will be epic otherwise tomorrow might be a good day to take off. Just watch the temperatures. Lots new snow in the valley as well but it did start to rain after I got home. Had to get the snowblower out to clear the driveway.
Looks like colder weather will be arriving maybe tomorrow afternoon or the next day. Sunnier weather as well.

Fantastic day out with Don, really enjoyed the guided tour of blackcomb through the trees and pow. Learned a lot about the history of the forest and the picnic table hidden in the trees, would really recommend the tour. Thanks for everything. Alvin
