Thursday Report for Dec 29, 2016

It has been a pretty good week. The crowds didn't seem to be too bad and the snow has been great. Woke up today with a bit of snow in the Valley and it continued to snow all day. When I got home it was over my knees in the driveway. One of the biggest snowfalls in a while in such a short period. I think Global News said 47 cm fell today.
7th Heaven, the Blackcomb Glacier and all of the alpine lifts on Whistler were closed today due to wind. The wind was coming from the South so 7th Heaven might be the only place that might have wind affected powder. I think tomorrow might be very busy so get there early.

Looks like a little more snow over the next few days and lots of sun. The Arctic Front will return next week so bundle up.

Fitzsimmons Creek on Saturday.

Barb out snowshoeing on the Rainbow Loop on Tuesday.
My next truck. Who needs a ski lift.

Look closely to see the lineup for Spanky's Ladder on Tuesday.

Diane with our new Mountain Host Mascot.

Today they put the new CIBC signage on our hut.
Quite the snow storm up on Blackcomb today.

Look at the snow that fell on my truck today at Base 2.
