Only 4 more days left to get up here and ski or board. You can still ski out to Base 2 no problem. The ski out to the Blackcomb Base is almost done but you can still do it if you don't mind walking the last little bit. See the 2nd photo below. Interesting that they haven't extended the skiing until next weekend. They would normally do this, especially with the amount of snow. If you are going up the last day they will probably be checking packs for alcohol at the base lifts.
I could see from 7th Heaven that they have plowed Pikas Traverse on Whistler so you probably can access the Wall of Snow. Not sure if they have made it to the Peak yet as the webcam is not very clear. I hope to go up there next weekend, when the Village Gondola opens, to take some photos.
The Bike Park on Whistler opens tomorrow May 19 with most trails open on the lower mountain. They must have done a lot of shovelling of snow to achieve this.
Congratulations to Rich on getting to number one for staff for vertical skied this season and he hasn't finished yet.
